Organic, Vegetarian, and Specialty Foods

We carry a variety of organic, vegetarian and specialty foods in our store. These foods include meatless meals, flours, mixes, snacks, teas, wheat-free products, rice products, milk-free products, diet foods, and many others.  If  you have any special requests for a product, we will do everything we can to order that product for you.  We  have access to many other products that we do not carry in the store, due to the limited space. Spelt Foods for Wheat Allergies

One of the most beneficial differences between spelt and wheat is the fact that many wheat and gluten-sensitive individuals have been able to include Spelt based foods in their diets. Spelt contains special carbohydrates (Mucopolysaccharides) which are an important factor in blood clotting and stimulating the body's immune system. It is also a superb fiber resource and has large amounts of B complex vitamins. Total protein content is from 10 to 25% greater than the common varieties of commercial wheat. Athletes who want to carbohydrate-load before competition will find that Spelt delivers a high level of "complex carbs" for their nutritional needs.
